Welcome to Four Corners Ferret Rescue!

Spring is in the Air!

On this site you can find many facts about ferrets, their health, care, and useful hints.  While you're here check out our news page, with our newest additions and schedule for any adoption days and updates.  On our "About Us" page you can find our goals and a little bit about how we got started.
You can find our Ferrets that are up for adoption here, and also permanent residents you can sponsor.  You can also watch our current residents on the weasel webcam (coming soon), fill out an adoption application, find out how to volunteer or donate and other ways to help.
Also you can find links to other ferret sites (the ones I have found to be most useful) and some Frequently Asked Ferret Questions, "Ask Angel" (a 'Dear Abby' type format) and toy critique, aka "Robbie's Reviews". And of course lots of pictures of our ferrets here, with a little section for each one.  Not to mention our Quotes page and Rainbow Bridge page for those no longer with us with Inspirational poems.
We have Tons of ferret information available, and if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask.  I don't bill myself as a ferret 'expert' but I can give some advice. Thank you and Enjoy the Site!

A Prayer for Animals

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals, especially for animals who are suffering; for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry; for all that must be put to death.  We entreat for them all thy mercy and pity, and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.  Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Bezil, my first true rescue,
who passed on 8-14-06
Shine on Bezil, Shine on
The heart that is loved never forgets

I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.
